Notice of District General Election on November 3, 2026

Official Declarations of Candidacy for eligible persons desiring to file for any of the elective offices are now available at Pine Cove Water District office.

Declarations of Candidacy must be filed in either location listed below no later than 5:00pm on August 7, 2026.

Pine Cove Water District: 24917 Marion Ridge Rd, Idyllwild, CA 92549 -Mon-Fri 9am-4pm

Registrar of Voters: 2720 Gateway Dr., Riverside, CA 92507 – Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

When to call 811?

Just like you won’t drill into a wall without knowing where the studs are, it makes sense to find out where the underground utilities are before digging. Before conducting any excavation, either by hand or with machinery, contact your local One-Call Center in advance by calling ‘811’America’s national toll free number for requesting underground utility location. The One-Call Center will notify the facility owners in your area, who will send representatives to mark these facilities with flags, paint or other marks, helping you avoid damaging them.

Know what utility markings mean:

The different strips of color with words inside of them are used to indicate the color that the utility pipe represents. For example: A pink line indicates Temporary survey lines. Red markings indicate electric power lines.

CONSUMER CONFIDENCE REPORT…coming to your PO Box soon!

IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR…THE CCR IS COMING TO YOUR MAILBOX SOON!

Pine Cove Water District has mailed out our Consumer Confidence Report (CCR); reporting for 2025. This report provides our water customers with information about their drinking water quality.

WHAT’S IN THE CONSUMER CONFIDENCE REPORT:

  • The lake, river, aquifer, or other source of the drinking water;
  • A brief summary of the risk of contamination of the local drinking water source;
  • The regulated contaminant found in local drinking water;
  • The potential health effects of any contaminant detected in violation of an EPA health standard;
  • An accounting of the system’s actions to restore safe drinking water;
  • An educational statement for vulnerable populations about avoiding Cryptosporidium;
  • Educational information on nitrate, arsenic, or lead in areas where these contaminants may be a concern;
