PINE COVE WATER DISTRICT

BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

May 12, 2010

Board President Thomas McCullough called the meeting of the Pine Cove Water District Board of Directors to order at 10:00 a.m. in the District Office Board Room.

ROLL CALL:

Directors Present: Thomas McCullough, Dan Fandrich, Joel Palmer, Lou Padula.

and Director Mike Esnard

Also present: Jerry Holldber, District Manager; Becky Smith, District Secretary

PUBLIC COMMENT:

None.   

MINUTES:

1. The minutes for the April 14, 2010 Board Meeting were approved on a Motion by Director Joel Palmer, seconded and carried unanimously.

FINANCIAL STATEMENT:

1. The Financial Statement for the period ending April 30, 2010 was accepted on a MOTION by Director Dan Fandrich, seconded and carried unanimously.

OPERATIONS REPORT:

1. Operations report was submitted by Jerry Holldber dated May 12, 2010.  Static Well #10 is at 96’.  SCE will be doing efficiency testing on all of the wells in August.  Weather Station is back online and working.  Blog is up to 385 hits.  We have 5 Applications for Water Service that have not been returned.  Will terminate water services until Applications received.  Still working with Verizon on Easement issues.  We are still waiting to hear from County on the summer work program.  Spring newsletter has been mailed, and Becky is sending in the Consumer Confidence Report.  Vicki is in the process of becoming a Notary for the District.  We have had a great response to taking credit card payments.  June 5th is the Annual Appreciation BBQ and Jerry’s presentation for the District at the PCPOA Board Meeting.

            None

NEW BUSINESS:

• Board reviewed the preliminary Budget for the 2010/2011 Fiscal Year.
• Public Hearing on June 9th for Standby Assessment Tax.

            The meeting adjourned at 10:56 am and the next scheduled Board Meeting is on Wednesday June 9, 2010 at 10:00 am.
